Founding

 

The IT Team is a Managed Service Provider, or MSP, serving the greater Kansas City Metro area.  We provide support services in Information Technology for small to medium sized businesses with 99 or fewer employees.​​

 

The company was co-founded by Adam Hurshman and Kelly Troxell in November 2016.  Both have had extensive experience working for Managed Service Providers as well as working for other companies in the IT field. Kelly Troxell left the company at the end of 2018, and Justin Shaw became a managing partner of the company at the beginning of 2019.

Adam Hurshman- Co-Founder/Partner

 

Adam started his career in IT working for Gateway 2000 in 1995 and has since worked with companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, Sprint, and Metro Information Systems.  Since August 2007, Adam has worked in the Managed Service Provider field with companies such as Your Mobile IT, Visionpace, and Results Technology.

Adam has supported a wide range of systems from hardware to software and has worked on everything from desktop computers to specialized robotic pick systems.

Kelly Troxell - Co-Founder

​

Kelly started her IT career in 1997 for Intriguing Development, testing printer drivers for the Hewlett Packard inkjet printers.  Since 2006, she has worked for Managed Service Providers such as Visionpace and Results Technology.  Kelly co-founded The IT Team in 2016 and helped see its growth until she left the company in 2018.
